A Florida Man Won $1.3M on Aristocrat’s Dragon Link Slot Machine at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino
On Friday, January 28, the Sunrise, Florida resident attended the casino and won the million-dollar jackpot. It is the fourth $1 million prize won in less than 60 days on the Dragon Link slot machine at a Seminole Gaming location.
Along with Hard Rock Hotel of Seminole and the Casino Hollywood, the Dragon Link progressive jackpot is available at other Seminole properties, including Hard Rock Hotel of Seminole and the Casino Tampa with Seminole Coconut Creek Casino. At each site, the reward begins at $1 million.
In 2021, Hard Rock Hollywood’s jackpots set a new record
According to a news release, Hard Rock Hotel of Seminole and the Casino Hollywood enjoyed a record-breaking year in 2021 by awarding more than $1.2 billion in slot machine prizes. Over 420,000 prizes were paid out at the integrated resort and casino, corresponding to approximately one jackpot practically every minute.
In November, the casino celebrated exceeding $1 billion in jackpot payouts in 2021 by awarding a surprise grand prize of $100,000 cash to one player. Jason Taylor, a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and a Miami Dolphins icon, was on hand to applaud the prizewinner.
Hard Rock Hotel of Seminole and the Casino Hollywood is the premiere integrated resort of the Hard Rock International brand, under the ownership of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. In 2019, the gaming and hotel attraction debuted a $1.5 billion expansion that included the world’s first “Guitar Hotel.”
The resort’s three hotel towers house 1,271 luxurious guest rooms. Rock Spa & Salon, spread over a 42,000-square-foot area with an 18-acre recreational water experience, having unique “Bora Bora” style private cabanas, and 20 plus restaurant and beverage outlets are among the offered amenities.
It has a gambling floor with 3,000 slot machines, 193 table games, and a 45-table poker area. Additionally, the facility features a 120,000-square-foot conference and convention area and a 26,000-square-foot retail promenade.
Aristocrat Technologies, a unit of worldwide games supplier Aristocrat Leisure Limited, created the famous Dragon Link progressive slot game. Aristocrat and Seminole Gaming debuted the $1 million Dragon Link high-limit progressive jackpot in June 2021, building on the popularity of the Dragon Link high-denom slot. It features a minimum wager of $25 and a maximum wager of $2,000.
According to Aristocrat Gaming’s Jon Hanlin, senior vice president of commercial strategy and business analytics, players’ reactions to the high-denom and mid-denom Dragon Link games have been “overwhelmingly favorable.” He further adds that given the very positive response from players, Seminole Gaming approached them with player feedback, and they, in turn, collaborated to activate the $1 million jackpot.
