Affinity Gaming Concludes Sale Deal of Colorado Casinos

Affinity Gaming (Affinity) announced the closure of a sales deal with Twin River Worldwide Holdings, Inc. In the announcement, it was mentioned that Affinity has sold the Golden Gates, Golden Gulch, and Mardi Gras casinos in Black Hawk, Colorado, for around $51 million.
All the three casinos are situated in close vicinity to each other in the half-mile strip that hosts many casinos and casino-hotel properties in the mining town of Colorado. Affinity bought the three Black Hawk located casino properties in 2012. Since then, it has worked on developing and upgrading these casinos. Today the casinos flaunt around 20 table games, about 700 slots, and a poker parlor. Each of these three properties also have restaurants and 24/7 bars; the properties have the only parking garage in the whole market, where there is space for 700 cars.
Chief Executive Officer of Affinity Gaming, Mary Beth Higgins made things clear by speaking out the intention of the company behind selling some of their prime properties,
Affinity Gaming is a casino gaming company based out of Las Vegas, Nevada. The company develops its own casino properties equipping it with the trending games and luxuries such as bar and restaurant. The company owns eight casinos in total spread over Nevada, Missouri, and Iowa.
