The Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort (AMCR) has opened a sports betting facility in North New York called the Sticks Sports Book and Grill.
Sticks Sports Book and Grill held a gala opening ceremony on 17 January, which was graced by former Buffalo Bills Wide Receiver and NFL Hall of Famer Andre Reed. Reed obliged fans with autographs and took photos with them after the event.
AMCR General Manager Todd Papineau said,
The Sticks Sports Book and Grill are lavishly built over a 5000 square-foot area. It houses a 9-feet*13-feet high definition video wall and 18 55-inch television sets for guests to follow different sporting events and place bets.
Additionally, the Sticks Sports Book and Grill also offers sandwiches, burgers, appetizers, and a bar where guests can relax while following their favorite sporting events. It also has a private lounge area for parties. This will be especially attractive for long drawn out sporting events as guests can help themselves to the delicacies on offer while continuing to look for betting opportunities.
