Barcelona is looking to get their hands on Bruno Guimaraes for £87 million
Barcelona recently secured a massive 3-0 win over Mallorca. The football club is pretty high on the victory and is now trying to get Bruno Guimaraes to the side as well. He currently features for Newcastle United, which has made it to the Champions League.
There is a rare possibility that Bruno will be willing to give up the spot ahead of the League. However, it has been learned that Barcelona is coming up strong with £87 million to bend the tides their way. The goal is to better cement their mid-field ahead of the next season.
Barcelona’s move came to light after it received confirmation about the departure of Sergio Busquets. Simply put, fortune is squeezing Barcelona with little hope for the bad time to end any sooner. While they won 2-0 in the previous game, that was merely a rebound of two consecutive losses with one each against Real Sociedad and Valladolid. Both games saw the dear football club register only a total of two goals as their opponents combined for a total of 4 goals.
Newcastle United has things working for them except for the 2-0 loss against Arsenal. Despite the 2-goal each draw with Leeds United, Newcastle has been able to stay at the top of the league with huge wins like 3-1 against Southampton and 4-1 against Everton. Not to forget, the 6-1 win over Tottenham remains iconic throughout April.
The likes of Harry Kane found the net in the 49th minute. However, it was late since the opponent had already taken a lead of 5 goals, with all of them coming in the first half.
Talking a bit more about Barcelona trying to get players to its side, it has been learned that the football club is also planning a move for Bayern Munich champion Jamal Musiala. The pitch is rather strong from Xavi, Barcelona Coach, with an eye for the future. Xavi has expressed his interest in Jamal playing for Barcelona, but it remains to be seen if the transfer window will see any exchange.
A player who has emerged as a confirmed transfer is Yannick Carrasco. Reports claim that Barcelona is more than interested after seeing his performance in the second half of the tournament. The signing for the transfer is estimated to be around €9 million.
One player who is likely to miss the cutoff is Marco Asensio. He is all set to become a free agent after leaving Real Madrid. However, there is no news anywhere, including on football betting sites, about Marco making it to Barcelona. The reason for eliminating him from the selection is that they do not want to add a player from a team they are about to meet in the upcoming campaign.
According to a report, Ansu Fati could leave for Arsenal since the 20-year-old is having a hard time getting back to his form. Goes without saying a piece of confirmed news will be out once the time window lapses and Barcelona interacts with the media.
