BetMGM adds NBA optical tracking data to Sportradar alliance
BetMGM, a sports wagering and iGaming provider, has forged a new partnership with Sportradar, one of the most prominent sports technology companies. BetMGM will have access to all available products and services, which will be enhanced by NBA optical tracking data.
As per the understanding between the two companies, Sportradar will be responsible for offering BetMGM connectivity with its new-age products as well as services that utilize NBA optical tracking data. Sportradar especially delivers this via its association with the league.
The partnership will ensure the offerings are extended to BetMGM users. BetMGM will also gain the opportunity to expand its prop markets, same-game parlay collection, and in-play wagering markets, just like other online sports betting sites.
BetMGM’s Chief Product Officer, Jarrod Schwarz, claims that the league data provided by Sportradar has enabled the company to enhance its products since their partnership began in 2018. They are all anxiously anticipating the hosting of the next NBA season and the ability to continue utilizing this information in the future.
In the words of the Chief Commercial Officer of Sportradar, Eduard Blonk, they are happy that their advanced products and services will bring out the full capabilities of NBA optical tracking data for the benefit of BetMGM and simultaneously support the return on investment of their collaboration with the NBA.
Sometime in July 2023, Sportradar inked an agreement with Caesars Sportsbook to obtain the NBA optical tracking data. Through this renewed association, both companies will be engaged in furthering the wagering exposure related to Caesars Entertainment’s sports betting platform via the offering of fresh products that utilize NBA optical tracking data.
