Blazers Defeat Knicks to Win Second Summer League Title
The 2K23 Summer League finals on Sunday brought the Portland Trail Blazers their second trophy since 2017. Earlier in the tournament, the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves & created a major upset. The phenomenal performance exhibited by Brandon Williams put them in the lead against the New York Knicks in the nail-biting game. The Blazers finished the game 85-77 and took home this year’s Summer League trophy.
Along with the 22-point run of Brandon Williams, the reserves of the Trail Blazers contributed 36 points in this crucial game. Among the reserves, Jabari Walker finished with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
