Notre Dame’s loss has reportedly become LSU’s gain. Brian Kelly is leaving the Fighting Irish to become the head coach of LSU. Brain Kelly has received an offer with a tenure of 10 years, a minimum remuneration of $100 million.

It appears to be evident that Brian Kelly will leave Notre Dame to become the head coach of LSU. The attractive offer coupled with incentives has taken him to LSU. The Tigers are considering this as their big hire.

The new head coach of LSU has 263 career wins. Brain Kelly has also made several College Football Playoff appearances and has taken Notre Dame into the mix yet again.

The expectations of The Tigers are very high from their new hire. Their previous head coaches could take the team to the final and get the national title back to their college.

These finals were Saban, Les Miles, and Ed Orgeron in 2003, 2007, and 2019, respectively.

The wins of The Tigers and the stats of Brian Kelly have even got the expectations of the college football fans up to the sky. The wait of winning the national title again may come to an end in the next edition.

The management of Notre Dame is expected to promote Marcus Freeman from defensive coordinator to head coach position. This goes against its tradition of not hiring a first-time head coach. The decision is taken considering the level at which Notre Dame currently stands.

The presence of Notre Dame at a stable place has paved the way for Marcus Freeman to be considered for the position of Head Coach. If he is appointed, then he would be a first-time head coach of Notre Dame.

Brain Kelly issued an apology to the management of Notre Dame as he had never planned to share the update with them in this manner. He has now scheduled a team meeting on Tuesday at 7:00 a.m. ET.
