After Vicious UFC Seattle Knockout, Bryce Mitchell Accepts Jean Silva’s Challenge

Jean Silva extended his four-fight knockout string with one punch on the UFC Seattle main card. Silva, early in his bout against Melsik Baghdasaryan, knocked out Baghdasaryan with a huge right hand and finished the fight with merciless ground-and-pound.

Silva is tied with Carlos Prates and Alex Pereira for second place (4 knockouts) in the current UFC knockout streak. Fellow featherweight Steve Garcia leads with five straight knockout wins.

However, after Bryce Mitchell’s bold social media response, he has made it to the headlines, causing controversies among fans. Let’s take a look at the turn of events after Mitchell’s fire response on X.

Jean Silva Calls Out Bryce Mitchell After Brutal Win

This Saturday’s UFC fight night event in Seattle saw Jean Silva taking care of the business and setting up future prospects as well. The UFC featherweight Brazilian champ stole the show in every way after he destroyed Melsik Baghdasaryan in the first round with his right hand and then followed up the win by calling out the polarizing Bryce Mitchell.

Silva communicated through a translator after his first-round victory and said “There’s a guy that’s been talking a lot of crap.”

“Bryce Mitchell. Dana, put me in front of him and I’ll do the job.

Mitchell, on the other hand, made controversial headlines and received many criticisms in January for commenting on Adolf Hitler in one of his podcasts.

UFC president, Dana White addressed those comments by saying that he had heard many dumb and ignorant comments in his day, this was probably the worst he had heard in a long time.

Bryce Mitchell’s Fiery Response and Potential Fight Hype

Bryce Mitchell did not take too long to reply on social media. He posted on X, “There’s only one LORD. And it ain’t u fool. U needa country ass whoopin. It will humble u just rite,”

The timeframe for a UFC return for Mitchell is still uncertain as he has not appeared in the case since his TKO win over Kron Gracie at UFC 310 in December. He might just take a huge step up in the tournament for Silva if the matchmakers at UFC make the fight happen. Dana White talked about this situation during a press conference after the UFC Seattle fight and mentioned that ‘there’s probably many people’ who want to see the fight come to fruition.

When questioned whether Mitchell had apologized during their conversation, White responded as follows: “His thing was, ‘I’m sorry if I put you guys in any position.’ He’s stupid. He’s dumb. You can’t fix dumb people. When you have somebody that’s really, really stupid, and that’s what we’re talking about here, what do you do? How do you talk sense to a dummy? You don’t.”
