Casino Metro has announced its partnership with Caesars Sportsbook to launch MetroBets, specifically in Puerto Rico, in 2023. Regulatory approvals are needed for the project to move forward. After that, guests at Casino Metro will be able to have fun with a retail sports betting product.
The project is ambitious, with an opening scheduled for 2023. It will see the addition of 7,000 square feet of space to accommodate the expanded operations of Casino Metro. The renovation will conclude by giving the infrastructure a more modern look with 25 LED televisions and odds boards.
For players to place their bets, 12 self-service betting kiosks and 3 betting windows will be available.
Subject to regulatory approvals, MetroBets has plans in place to go beyond the current sphere by entering satellite wagering locations throughout the Commonwealth. Caesars Sportsbook brings to the table the partnerships established with the NBA, NFL, MLB, and NHL, among other teams. It is also an exclusive provider for ESPN and CBS Sports.

The numbers will change after expansion. Casino Metro will have over 25 gaming tables and 650 slot machines in an area of 30,000 square feet.
