Prominent casino operators of USA, Hard Rock International and Seminole Gaming have pledged to contribute to the fight against COVID-19. They have donated 350 soap bars to Clean the World Foundation.
Clean The World Foundation aims to recycle soaps and amenities from the hotel. Clean The World Foundation was established in the year 2009 and since then it has recycled 45 million soap bars across 127 countries.
This program collects all the leftover soaps and bathroom essentials left by the hotel guests. The soaps are then sanitized, melted and then again processed into a completely new bar of soap.
Sam Stephens, Director, Clean the World Foundation said,
Stephen believes that washing your hands with soap is the best way to combat the virus spread so getting the supplies quickly from the relief organization is quite important. Stephens expressed his gratitude towards Hard Rock International and Seminole Gaming for making contributions by donating that helped them to meet the demands quickly.
Seminole Gaming has combined waste worth 15,000 pounds from landfills and along with that, has distributed approximately 33,000 bars of soap to the ones in need.
Tracy Bradford from Hard Rock International and Seminole Gaming said,
The Clean World Foundation aims to send an additional set of 3 million soap bars in the coming 90 days to the areas that are the most affected by the pandemic.
