Delaware online casino bags 224.68% March revenue growth
The online casino segment in Delaware has bagged a massive jump of 224.68% on a year-to-year basis, effective March 2024. The state still lags at the 6th position in terms of GGR, that is, gross gaming revenue, but it has seen a significant impact of making a shift to BetRivers from 888.
Numbers for March further demonstrate an increase of 19.68% in comparison to February 2024. The revenue for February was $3.87 million. March registered a revenue of $4.63 million. Interestingly, it is also higher than what the charts showed in January: $3.41 million. The highest contribution to the revenue number is from Delaware Park, bringing approximately $2,073,258. It is followed by Harrington and Bally’s Dover with $1,607,016 and $951,095, respectively. Online slots once again proved to be a safer segment for the industry. It yielded $3.33 million in revenue, followed by table games with $1.30 million.
Delaware Park’s revenue dropped compared to February, while the remaining brands reported an increase. This does not necessarily reflect poorly on the brand, but rather paints a picture wherein customers may be starting to explore their options. The figures align with the trends established by some of the best online casinos in the USA. This includes the likes of BC.Game, Wild Casino, and Black Lotus, to mention a few.
The number of registrations in February was 5,844. It fell to 4,229, down 27.64%. Promo deductions saw a rise as more players leveraged the applicable Welcome Bonuses through mobile applications.

February and March followed more strongly, with $3,869,854 and $4,631,369 in the same order. The monthly rise was 192.21%, 13.52%, and 19.68% for the first three months of the year, respectively.

Connecticut and West Virginia are ranked 4th and 5th with a population of 3.62 million and 1.78 million, respectively.
