DeMarre Carroll Joins Mike Budenholzer’s Coaching Staff
Milwaukee Bucks have made several changes to its coaching staff. Mike Budenholzer added DeMarre Carroll to the coaching staff as an assistant coach. The move was hailed after the 11-year NBA veteran reunited with Mike Budenholzer. DeMarre Carroll has appeared in 578 career games, and he recently appeared with the Spurs and Rockets during the 2019-2020 season.
His joining the coaching staff is considered a reunion because he has played with Mike Budenholzer for two seasons, from 2013 to 2015. This includes the 2014-2015 season when the Hawks registered a win of 60 games to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. Career games of DeMarre Carroll have been with Atlanta, Utah, Houston, Memphis, Denver, Brooklyn, Toronto, and San Antonio.
This is not the only change that the Milwaukee Bucks have made; others have also been rewarded with a promotion to the next level. For instance, Charles Lee has been promoted to Associate Head Coach after working as an Assistant Coach with the team for the past four seasons.
Lee joined Mike Budenholzer in 2014 at the Atlanta Hawks. The current season will mark his ninth season with Mike Budenholzer and this has increased the level of excitement in NBA betting industry.
Charles Lee made the playoffs in seven of his eight seasons under Mike Budenholzer in Atlanta and Milwaukee. He was also a part of the coaching staff when Milwaukee Bucks won the 2021 NBA Championship. The three Eastern Conference Final appearances are hard to ignore as well.
Charles Lee has played professionally in Belgium, Israel, and Germany. He was titled the 2006 Patriot League Player of the Year and won two Patriot League Championships. He started his journey with Bucknell as an assistant coach, serving the team for two seasons before moving on to the next chapter of his life.
Vince Legarza has been hired as an Assistant Coach on Mike Budenholzer’s team. He recently served the Utah Jazz for four seasons in the same position. Vince Legarza has experience being in the Player Development Department, something that he earned while at the Minnesota Timberwolves for three seasons.
His NBA journey began with Hawks, where he was asked to look after the team’s Basketball Operations & Player Development Departments. The service was active for two seasons for the graduate from Miami University.
Blaine Mueller is a known face in the Milwaukee Bucks, where he is all set to enter the fifth season as an Assistant Coach, the promoted position. Blaine Mueller started with the team in 2018 as a video & player development assistant, following which he was promoted to the post of Head Video Coordinator.
He came to the team after serving two seasons as an Assistant Coach at Lindenwood University. Sidney Dobner will take over the position of Head Video Coordinator after serving as an Assistant Video Coordinator in the last season.
Sidney Dobner will be entering her fifth season with the team. She joined the team in the 2019-2020 season to transition to a video & player development assistant for the 2020-2021 season.
