He further shared that various actions can be taken to strengthen the agenda. For instance, establishing an organization that would bring Portuguese-speaking football associations closer. The Brazilian Football Association will share not just its experience but also its expertise in management, football development, and coaches’ training.
Ednaldo Rodrigues has a working profile as Vice President and Acting President for the Brazilian Football Association. He was elected for the post of President at the association in March 2022.
Gianni Infantino earlier highlighted that the vision of FIFA was to make football truly global. Ednaldo Rodrigues extended his support to back the vision by stating that FIFA was the driving force behind the development of football across the world.
He also noted that confederations and Member Associations must align themselves with FIFA to help achieve the vision.
All the Member Associations need to align with the vision of FIFA as a non-alignment would restrict the collective growth, letting the sport grow only in a specific continent. Ednaldo Rodrigues concluded his statement by saying that when the vision is achieved, FIFA must act as a regulator for all situations.
