Entain’s Unikrn signs a partnership agreement with BLAST
Global in nature, the partnership agreement between Entain’s Unikrn and BLAST allows unikrn, the betting platform for video games and eSports, to expand its market by deeply embedding itself in the fan experience of BLAST. The partnership agreement is for multiple years, and fans will soon see the branding and logo of Unikrn across the events organized by BLAST.
While the promotional method sounds traditional, it will give Unikrn exposure in front of the tens of thousands of fans who visit the events held by BLAST. One such exciting event is the Counter-Strike tournament. It is hugely popular among fans of all ages and has participants coming from different parts of the world.
What makes this more interesting is that the events are broadcast in over 150 territories and over 25 languages. This means that everyone watching from their homes is deeply immersed in the tournament, and a little brand exposure will likely serve well.
The multi-year partnership agreement with BLAST will help Unikrn spread its wings in different territories. At best, the word will be all over the place to make way for future launches. Unikrn is currently present in Brazil and Canada, except for the province of Ontario. Entain’s brand is now targeting expansion into different regions.
At the right time, one can assume, since there is a lot of hype for eSports betting. Players at Unikrn are already enjoying the platform. It brings together some of the best titles and tournaments for players in a single place. Moreover, Unikrn allows participants to bet on themselves through the uMode product, as per the latest Unikrn review.
The group used to be called GVC Holdings, but in December 2020, it changed its name to reflect its goals better. It owns some of the most well-known brands on the market, like Ladbrokes, Coral, Bwin, Gioco Digitale, and Foxy Bingo, to name a few.
Entain has a close collaboration with MGM Resorts to operate BetMGM. The joint venture’s aim was to capitalize on the opportunities for sports betting and gaming presented by the regulations.
Entain is now one of the largest brands in the world, courtesy of its organic growth and M&A. A recent acquisition by the brand came in 2018 when it acquired Ladbrokes Coral Group PLC. This marked the entry of Entain into retail operations. Two years before that – 2016 – when Entain acquired Bwin.
The venture houses over 3,000 IT staff and is known for being highly stable and secure, with service availability of 99.93%. Unikrn is extremely scalable, along with its fully integrated proprietary tech platform.
Entain accepts bets in over 33 languages and supports more than 42 currencies in the payment method. It has, so far, established more than 2,500 betting shops under two brands: Coral and Ladbrokes.
