FIFA Play Zone: Start earning points with upcoming football events
Participants only have to make correct predictions, giving them points in the FIFA Play Zone. At the centre are the upcoming football events, the results of which can go either way. For instance, Chelsea and Man City have the same number of points (34), and both are poised to lift the crown eventually.
Man City have won their previous five games, but Chelsea have lost a single out of four previous Women’s Super League events.
The current Fives available for the week are different for men and women. Men have football events between Portuguesa & Palmeiras, FC Midtjylland & FC Copenhagen, and Manchester City & Manchester United. Women have a total of two events in sight. These are between Arsenal & Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City & Chelsea.
The majority of the football games qualify for the FIFA Play Zone. Participants have to make five correct predictions, earning them 25 points for the entire set. One correct answer gets them 5 points, while a wrong answer gets them nothing. The leaderboard is automatically updated with the ranking along with the picks of other participants.
FIFA has recently refreshed the Play Zone for the new 2023/2024 season. Participants can now make their selections and personalize their avatars to earn extra badges as they aim to ascend the leaderboard. It is obligatory to create a FIFA ID account, especially for those interested in FIFA betting sites.
That said, football games in the Women’s Super League are turning out to be interesting. Leicester beat Bristol by 5-2. The feat, even though it never looked impossible, was on the edge of becoming a far-fetched dream. Bristol scored an opener in the 20th minute, giving their opponent less time to rethink the defensive position. Kirk remained determined with little to no change in the initial moments.
Next came two goals from their side before breaking for halftime. The first half broke after a few additional minutes. That allowed Leicester to navigate their way to the back of the net. The second half followed, wherein four goals were scored in total by both teams.
Arsenal versus Manchester United in the Women’s Super League came close to that picture. Even though it happened before, fans wanted Arsenal to broaden the winning gap for a surplus GD on the table. All the goals for Arsenal came in the first half, with the opener being an OG by Geyse in the 10th minute. The third mistake allowed Arsenal to net their concluding score in the 44th minute. Manchester United maintained their dignity by landing a goal in the ET after the usual 90-minute run. Lucia found a way to fool D’Angelo. Hence, the goal.
