Gambling Firm 32 Red Repays £590k Allegedly Robbed by Derry Woman
Gambling firm 32 Red has reportedly managed to repay all the £590k that London Derry women robbed from her boss and then ended up losing it all online.
32 Red is a popular award-winning online casino, poker, betting, and bingo operator. It came into existence in the year 2002. 32 Red has been controlled by the Gibraltar Government and it is a licensed firm. The entire operation of the company is based in Gibraltar.
Meanwhile, a public prosecution service lawyer stated the Crown Court in Derry that 32 Red has already repaid almost all the money to the owners of S3 Alliance Ltd that is located in the Skeoge Industrial Estate.
Earlier last month, the former employee of S3 Alliance Tracey Curran has confessed to her crime. She resides in Moyola Drive in the Shantallow area of Derry.
Tracey Curran used her company’s credit cards falsely to withdraw money between the duration of January 2016 to April 2017.
The public prosecution service lawyer highlighted the case before Judge Philip Babington on Tuesday and said a huge portion of the money has already been repaid in the form of gratuity by 32 Red.
According to a defense QC, accountants have been working hard to decide whether all the money had been reimbursed to the S3 Alliance or not.
As of now, the case has been adjourned for a mention on November 29, and now the plea hearing will take place on December 20.
