Now Global Poker is set to host one of the most popular gambling tournaments, the U.S. Poker Open. U.S. Poker Open has traditionally been a live tournament played in Las Vegas. But for the first time, the tournament will also be played online.

The live version of USPO was held in June at the Aria resort in Las Vegas. There were twelve high roller events, and the games were all live broadcasted on PokerGo. The winner of USPO live 2021 was David Peters, who won three different events in the series.
Mori Eskandani, President of PokerGo, has spoken very highly of the USPO live version claiming that the 2021 version of the tournament had some of the highest number of registrations and most exciting matches between the best poker players of America.
Eskandani has also thanked Global Poker for their collaboration during the live series as a presenting partner. USPO live version is being televised on NBC Sports Network from August 16th.
But the excitement of USPO is back again, this time online. The tournament will be held between August 23rd and September 5th. There will be two main events and sixteen events in total for both Gold Coin and Sweeps Coin. Gold Coin will have a$125 million guarantee, and the guarantee for Sweeps Coin will be $250,000. The main USP of the online version of the U.S. poker Open will be the fact that players will be able to get the full tournament experience at a much lower buy-in than for the live version.
Global Poker has announced that they will have a USPO leaderboard, and the top ten players on both the Gold Coin and Sweeps Coin leaderboard will get some exciting prizes.
Global Poker is a free-to-play platform and has a large and loyal customer base of nearly a million users. With the introduction of the online version of USPO, both the tournament as well as the Global Poker cardroom are expected to gain many more participants.
