The inaugural WPL is about to end the playoffs, but the teams are still trying to secure their positions.
The Mumbai Indians had been dominating the tournament up until their two consecutive losses. Due to the losses, Delhi Capitals and MI are currently tied on 10 points, allowing them to catch up. Mumbai Indians have a chance to go to the finals by beating DC in the cricket match.
However, the Delhi Capitals’ ruthless attack prevented the team from moving forward. DC secured a comfortable 9-wicket win against MI to secure the top spot with a run rate of +1.98.
The majority of viewers were certain that MI would defeat DC, just as they did in previous matches. That is why even the top sites to bet on cricket were offering favourable odds to MI. However, MI could only set a meagre target of 110 as a result of Marizanne Kapp’s 2 for 13 performance.
After starting the game on a low note, MI struggled throughout the match, ending the inning at 109 for 8. On the other hand, Delhi Capitals started their inning with a bang. The team looked strong from the get-go as captain Meg Lanning led the attack with Shafali Verma.

For a team that boasts three of the five best bowlers in the competition, MI failed to put on a justifiable performance. On the other hand, the Delhi Capitals stood true to their strong batting performance, as Meg Lanning now leads the competition as the highest run-scoring player.
