The Los Angeles Clippers’ professional basketball team has decided to continue with Ivica Zubac. So far, the versatile player’s journey with the Clippers has been significantly productive. Zubac started 76 games for the Clippers last season and posted his career-high stats.
With an average of 10.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 1.6 assists, Zubac broke his records from previous seasons. This 7-foot pro also posted his career-high with 25 double-doubles last season, and it is also the most by a Clipper since the 2017-28 season.
His six-year stay in the NBA is shared between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Los Angeles Lakers. As far as his career stats are concerned, he averages 8.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 19.0 minutes in about 360 games. And what’s more, he was selected as the 32nd overall pick in the NBA draft of 2016. Zubac also played the fourth-most games in the last three seasons and was popular among fans who placed bets at NBA betting sites.
According to Frank Lawrence, the President of Basketball Operations, Zubac has been a “durable and dependable” part of the Clippers. He further added, “He does whatever is needed: setting screens, rolling to the rim, and anchoring the defense’s interior. He is a reliable teammate and a consistent pro, just entering the prime of his career. We are excited to continue growing with him.”
