Milan Eyes Paratici and Sarri for Future Reshuffle

Reports have come in Italy about Milan’s plan for a total rebuild starting next season, which includes the former Juventus and Tottenham director Fabio Paratici along with the head coach Maurizio Sarri.

The Rossoneri are hurting following the Champions League play-off defeat at the hands of Feyenoord. There has also been tension between coach Sergio Conceicao and certain players, and this has fueled speculation that he may not stay beyond the end of his short-term contract in June. This implies focusing on the future, and the shifts may be behind as well as on the bench.

Paratici and Sarri Potential Future Milan Reunion

Milan Press exposed the growing interest of the Diavolo in hiring the former Juventus and Tottenham Director of Football, Paratici.

The 52-year-old Fabio Paratici was recently suspended because of financial irregularities while he was a part of the industry at Juve, which led to a ban for 30 months. The ban will be lifted in July 2025, during which the current Milan contract for the Sports Director, Geoffrey Moncada, will also come to an end.

Amidst these occurrences, Paratici seems to be a clear favorite now, outperforming Andrea Berta. His past successes at Juventus and his leadership can potentially reshape the sporting strategy for Milan.

If Paratici is brought in, it might increase the chances of hiring a new coach who shares similar ideas, especially Sarri.

Sarri was brought by Paratici at Juventus, and they together won the Scudetto. Later, in March 2024, Sarri resigned and is now taking his time out to find the best project suitable for him.

Sarri’s Likely Return to Serie A with Milan

Maurizio Sarri resigned in 2024, after which his longtime assistant Giovanni Martusciello took over. Sarri had previously decided to step down after five losses that he made in Lazio’s previous six matches.

Under Lazio’s charge, he was in his third season with a contract till the end of the next one. He was fired in 2020 by Juventus even though he led the Bianconeri to the ninth successive title in his single season in charge.

The former banker, Sarri, has also coached Napoli and Chelsea previously.

Sarri is popular for his dynamic and thrilling play, as he focuses on high pressure, ball retention, and quick passing. His coaching is the pure form known. Sarri is also known for his fast-passing style as he, along with his team, spends hours on training grounds rather than looking for replacements.

Sarri’s playing style can potentially benefit Milan in their quest for success. His return can also create a buzz in the Serie A markets, with multiple football betting sites anticipating a change in Milan’s fortunes under his leadership.
