Nebraska end their 11-game losing streak, beat Michigan State
The Nebraska Cornhuskers beat the Michigan State Spartans by 77-70 on Sunday night in the Big Ten Conference game. This gives them a win after 11 consecutive losses to the same opponent. It further marks a win in their backyard for the first time since 2015.
Credit for the victory has been given to Juwan Gary, who entered as a replacement for Josiah Allick. An ankle injury in Minnesota during the competition ruled Josiah out of the competition. Juwan Gary contributed 20 points to the side, while the opponents relied on 22 from Malik Hall. Nebraska went on to register 9 of 20 3-pointers and a 45 3-point percentage. Michigan tallied 8 of 17 3-pointers and a 47.1 3-point percentage.
