Nick Maimone has won two online games at GGPoker
Just one week before Christmas, Nick Maimone just so happened to have two online tournaments that were duly hosted by GGPoker. He was able to take home a total of approximately $114,000 in winnings from these two wins.
He won the $1,050 Naughty or Nice Bounty tournament on the GGPoker WSOP Winter circuit thanks to his skill and good fortune. He brought home a first-place prize of $157,755 and a gold WSOP circuit ring.
Naughty or Nice Bounty was the WSOP Winter Circuit’s 12th ring-awarding tournament. As a result of their efforts, the total prize pool has grown to over $1,399,000, much exceeding the guarantee.
In order to effectively reach this enormous figure, a total of 1,399 players were brought together. This, however, positively ensured that just about every involved and participating individual player took with him a minimum amount of $12,763. The bounties were also included in this scenario.
As per the poker news, Juan Vecino was the first player to leave the game at the table that was set up with the active participation of nine players fighting and competing among themselves for the winning prize. Following this exit, it turned out to be the turn of Latvia, CZG2009, OpusAsu and also Ilvali leaving the game.
The competition for the ultimate title and, by this point, six-figure winnings continued with only four players left. Bryan Paris quickly followed Andreas Nasman in having to abandon the game, and soon after those two, it was game over. Maimone and RojerBauRICH squared off in the decisive round. At the conclusion, Maimone was presented with a check for $157,755, a WSOP Circuit ring, and of course the title of winner.
