Resorts World Casino Paid $3bn to Albany and Initiated “Good Neighbor Network”
The famous Resorts World Casino in South Ozone Park, New York, exists for eight years, and now, it is closing by paying $3billion to Albany and initiating “Good Neighbor Network.” This occasion is marked by this network to help the Queens’s civics and groups and also, raising their money and public profiles.
President of Queens Chamber of Commerce, Tom Grech, said:

Resorts World Casino’s Director of PR and Community Development, Michelle Stoddart will run the program and provides access of Resorts World website to many groups such as Greater Jamaica Development Corporation, Queens Botanical Garden, Boys & Girls Club of Metro Queens, Queens Chamber of Commerce, Queens Council on the Arts, and Queens Economic Development Corporation. These groups will access the website to promote their events, raise money, and search volunteers.
President of Resorts World Casino, New York, Scott Molina, said, “they are proud to be with organizations that are working to make other people’s lives better. They are happy to support them through their admirable work.” The Good Neighbor Network will be a new ad campaign for the casino, which will help in company ties and other economic benefits.
In the ad, a casino employee, Cheryl L., is dropping her son at school. The name of the son is Nasir, who only knows that his mother works at a casino. The ad shows that the casino contributes $500 million to schools and union jobs. This ad will be seen on cable and broadcast TV in New York City as well as in Albany for three weeks.
