Texas RB Bijan Robinson solidifies his standings
Bijan Robinson, an American football running back, gives his best performance to cement the rankings with his workout. Per the reports, the number of 4.46 seconds for the 40-yard dash is now at par for the 6th-best result. Weighing 215 pounds, he is closer to surpassing Deneric Prince, who registered 4.41 seconds for the same at 216 pounds.
Robinson is the best when it comes to comparison with those who weigh more than him; however, Prince is an exception who has come to him as a challenge. This gives him his 6th best result for the overall 4th rank as a prospect in the draft.
Texas’ Robinson stands at 5-foot-11 and is currently content with his figures for 40. As a matter of fact, he interacted with the media to call it a good time. Overall ranking for the prospect is according to sports analysts.
Being content is not robbing him of his position, but he may want to consider that there are two steps left for a 10-yard split. Ranking in third spot with Roschon Johnson, the time is 1.52 seconds resulting in a third-best mark in comparison to running backs. Devon Achane is ahead by a narrow margin to stand at 1.51. He entered as one of the favorites for the 40-yard dash. Assuming Robinson covers that up, which should not be a problem, Achane’s position would lose a minor hold over the power.
Vertical and broad jumps have seen Robinson come close to top spots as well. Tied, though, yet achievable, considering the tie is at the 5th spot for a vertical jump with 37 inches and the 4th spot for a broad jump at 10-foot-4.
Robinson’s skills are worth praising in addition to the sporty figures registered with him during the workout session. For instance, he has displayed the ability to catch the ball quickly instead of letting it go for a spin. A combination of quickness, burst, and vision has brought Robinson to a level that could soon be left behind him.
When asked about his overall performance, he sounded satisfied about it, saying that it would be a blessing to be in the top-ten range and help running backs in the team. Football enthusiasts are keeping a close eye on the NFL betting sites to get all the needed and latest updates about Robinson’s performance.
His performance has been looked at the level of Saquon Barkley from the 2018 NFL Draft, who was registered as the second number for overall selection and was previously drafted higher than the 24th pick in the overall sense.
Robinson is followed by Evan Hull for 4.47 seconds from Northwestern. Also on the list are Sydney Brown, Cameron Mitchell, Yasir Abdullah, and Mekhi Blackmon, to mention a few. He is sharing his time with Jartavius Martin, Joey Porter Jr, and Darell Luter Jr.
DJ Turner II leads the chart with 4.26 seconds. No comes close within the range until 4.30 seconds, delivered by Jakorian Bennett and then Devon Achane at 4.32 seconds.
